I rarely stock up on cross stitch stuff unless it has a specific purpose, but I couldn’t pass up this clearance stuff. $3.98 for the box of 30 skeins of DMC (reg. $18.97), khaki evenweave for $2.99 (reg. $5.99) and a tension hoop for $1.49 (reg. $3.99).

Small cross stitch notebooks - the dark red one keeps notes and progress of projects, the other keeps track of every purchase I’ve ever made for cross stitching.

How I keep track of floss - I bought a fancy phone app but ended up just using the printout that DMC offers on their website. I keep it in a folder with the Dimensions to DMC conversion chart (Weekend in Paris is a Dimensions kit)

Floss for Le Chat Noir - I use plastic quilting template with holes punched out as a floss sorter (I write on the plastic with sharpie and then use rubbing alcohol to remove it).

Floss box 2 - it has the rest of my DMC solids and my collection of variegateds.

Floss Box 1 - has solid DMC colors, extra plastic bobbins, etc. I tried to use the little stickers for the DMC numbers but they usually end up falling off so I use a sharpie instead.

Didn’t want to pay for the overpriced cardboard floss holders for projects.. So making my own reusable ones from quilting template plastic. $4.49 for a ton of reusable ones vs $2.79 for 3 disposable cardboard ones.
